Air transportation

Due to increasing interest in the transport of special and oversized cargo by means of air transportation, we have included this mode of transport in our range of services.

Air transport, although more expensive than road, railroad or sea transportation, guarantees the shortest lead time to relocate a given cargo. It is extremely significant in large international investments, in which individual elements are manufactured in plants in far-off parts of the world.

Currently, following maximal dimensions of loads are accepted in air transportation:

• 43 m in length, 6.4 m in width, 4.4 m in height and 250 t weight (AN 225)
• 49m in length, 3.17 m in width, 3.04 m in height and 111 t weight (Boeing 747 cargo)
• 36.5 m in length, 6.4 m in width, 4.4 m in height and 110 t weight (AN 124)

The airplanes referred to above perform charter flights only. The services are provided by specialized logistics providers – their number is lower than the number of traditional air carriers. Therefore, such a service should be ordered in advance.
