Railway transportation

Railway transportation, due to high loading capacity of the cars, allows for transporting a larger number of goods in one transport unit. In case of large amounts of large goods to be transported at one time, railway transport often becomes more profitable than road transportation.

Thanks to our cooperation with experienced and renown subcontractors, we can offer railway transport services of out-of-gauge and oversized loads in whole Europe, also in eastern directions – to Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. Our partners have knowledge on the professional organization of special railway transports.

The maximal dimensions of the loads which can be carried in railway transportation:

• 120 m in length
• 4.0 m in width
• 4.0 m in height
• 500 t of weight

In case of railway transportation, it must be remembered that often there is no possibility to carry the load directly to the place of destination, due to no railway infrastructure in the place of unloading. In such case, the cargo needs to be handled from railway car platforms to road vehicles (intermodal transportation).
